As you all know I believe deeply in God’s plan, so I am looking to pay it forward and ask those who have backed me to help see this competition to the end with another contestant I feel most closely reflects my values in taking this journey. I went through the remaining semi-finalists 1st, looking for someone who fit the 40-something that was publicized and then what their goal was.
I am sending this request out for my supporters to back her thanks to the lessons taught to me by my mentor since I was 11, Deacon Ron Willie Williams and her profile answer:
What would you do with the $40,000?
Give 10% and the remainder would fund my dream of walking the Camino de Santiago, a 512 mile/5 week pilgrimage starting in France over the Pyrenees mountains, then across the entire northern part of Spain. After, I would continue traveling the world while slowly unpacking everything I've carried in my invisible backpack throughout my life-we all have one and things we need to let go of! As a single mom of two sons ages 25 and 20, it's time now to put the focus on me! I'm ready!!
